The MJ500, MJ600 and MJ700 interpolators are designed for use with any encoder, linear or rotary, providing 1V p-p with an impedance of 120 ohms. This includes the Sony SH12, SH52 and SL700/PL101 linear encoders. The units provide line driver (RS422) A/B/Z signal outputs. Each model is capable of a different range of interpolations or divisions of the analogue input signal. The MJ500 can be set to carry out 80 to 400 divisions, the MJ600 500 to 1024 and MJ600 1200 to 4000.   The units include a facility for automatic compensation of the DC offset, gain and phase difference properties of the input signal. This improves interpolation accuracy, particularly important in ensuring smooth and accurate drive performance of the control system. Input and output connectors are supplied as standard.
