The MJ100 and MJ110 interpolator units are component parts of the Sony Digiruler measuring systems. They are used in conjunction with Sony SL tape scales and PL25 or PL60 reading heads. At maximum interpolation setting the units provide 5µm or 2µm resolution output depending on the Sony scale and head combination used. The MJ100 provides line driver output, the MJ110 open collect.
