The Sony Laserscale BL55 series utilises a new optical integrated circuit enabling Laserscale high accuracy performance with compact mounting size and reduced cost. The small signal pitch of 0.4µm, produced from the 1.6µm grating pitch, reduces interpolation errors to almost zero. The RE series is an open type scale with zero point.
